Mushroom Stir-fry

Mushroom stir-fry dish is a simple and very easy recipe, which is healthy and could be a great combo for bread or paratha for perfect dinner. Button mushroom is the best among all for this dish, because of its greater absorbing capability and its retaining shapes. With this, you can able to add green capsicum, red bell peppers for better taste. You can combo this with rasam, phulkas and even steamed rice.

Ingredients:

Button mushrooms (400 grams), quartered
Green Chillies (2)
Red or Green Bell Pepper (1)   
Ginger (1 inch)   
Black pepper powder (1/2 teaspoon)   
Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon    )
Garam masala powder (1/2 teaspoon)   
Salt   
Coriander leaves
Cooking oil

How to Prepare:

To begin making the Mushroom stir-fry dish, initially get all ingredients ready and wash mushrooms well and keep it aside. Now heat a pan over a medium flame with oil, then add green chilies, ginger and bell peppers and sauté well until capsicum cooks well.

Now add mushrooms in that and sauté gently on high flame, once mushrooms started cooking it will release more water. At this stage, you need to stir it well until all water gets evaporates.

At this stage, add the rest ingredients like pepper powder, turmeric and a pinch of salt and garam masala and keep stirring until it becomes dry.

Now switch off heat and check the spice level and salt, if needed more then add some and stir well. And sprinkle the coriander leaves and ready to serve.
